We just wrapped up another week of filming, but we’re still less than halfway to the finish line!
We’re working on more water and fire collections this week and next week (be sure to check out last week’s post to leave your feedback), but we wanted to start collecting feedback early for our next batch of collections.
Starting on April 28th, we’ll be closing out the shoot with a few new gun VFX collections. Right now, the plan is to shoot Muzzle Flashes Vol. 3 and Gun Smoke Vol. 3.
Like last time, here’s what we’re looking for:
1. How should we shoot these collections to provide you with the most value?
You don’t have to answer for every collection, just comment on the ones you have specific thoughts on. For these, please help us improve on our first muzzle flashes and gun smoke collections. What are things we should do differently to make an even better product?
2. What other assets should we shoot this week?
If you want something that’s not already on this list, please let us know! It’s usually not too hard to add a few more collections once we set up a shoot, so we want to maximize what we can create for you.
All thoughts are welcomed, but please be specific and feel free to use images so we know exactly what you mean. We look forward to making you proud!

Another week, another shoot!
Thanks to everyone who left feedback on our Blood and Gore shoot (see BTS photo)! That really helped us out, so we wanted to request another round of feedback from you all. Over the next few weeks, we plan on shooting multiple Fire and Water collections. With your feedback, we’ll be able to make them even better!
We’re building another pool! What should we do with it?
A few years ago, we built a pool to shoot our Water Splashes and Water Blast collections, and this year we’re building an even bigger one. What water assets would you like to see us shoot with it? Nothing is off limits; if we can do it, we will!
More Fire is on the way!
We have a lot of Fire assets already on the site, but we believe we can not only do more variety, but also shoot new collections in a way that better serve you. When it comes to fire, what would you like to see us do this time around?

Drops Hitting Water Surface
Sand in Wind
Foot Splashes (Water Steps)

Hey everyone! A lot of you have requested we create more Blood & Gore assets, so in our upcoming shoot, we’ll be dedicating 1 full week (Mar 31-Apr 4) to capturing some amazingly gross stuff!
But, we need your feedback to ensure we capture what you want, exactly how you want them.
If we’re not making stuff you want, then there’s no point in us doing a shoot. So please take 2 minutes out of your busy schedule to leave a comment with your feedback. Currently, these are the collections we plan on shooting that week:
