Feedback here is that if I have downloaded something in the past, it should not contribute to my daily download limit.

I understand the need for such a limitation on the essentials catalog, but it is very frustrating to have to redownload elements in the case of a hard drive failure or accidental deletion.

Please also consider allowing subscribers to download collections in one go. It’s a huge huge waste of time and serves no purpose beyond slowing users down.

    With regard to the previously downloaded elements, it seems like a no brainer to improve this experience. If you’ve already downloaded something, it won’t count against your daily limits. We have this work in our engineering pipeline. It will probably take us a couple of weeks to get this change into production due to the holiday season.

    With regards to the collection downloads, there’s a lot of cost involved with those - so the purpose is mainly as a cost control. It’s in effect the same concept as the daily download limit. I can understand your sentiment entirely and I don’t disagree that it slows you down. We’re looking at adding a some bulk features to our assets, which should help.

    Again, we always appreciate hearing from users, especially when they provide constructive feedback as you have.
