I really wish you had a plan where we could buy items à la carte. Or, even a way to buy credits to use for purchase - much like iStock or places like that. Sometimes, you can’t afford to pay monthly, and can only afford to purchase as needed.

    Hey @Mark Bogner, we really appreciate you writing in. I can understand your feelings.

    Let me explain how our offering actually makes more sense from a financial perspective. Imagine the use case where a freelancer’s project requires that you buy five 4K à la carte assets. In our prior model this cost would be $39 × 5 = $195.

    With our current model they could accomplish this using the lowest monthly plan at $59 per month. Actually, you could subscribe to our 20 credits per month plan for approximately the same cost (20 assets for the cost that you would have paid for 5 on our prior model). If you are a startup or enterprise license user - the same math still works.

    These prices aren’t even including our current Black Friday discounts.

    Don’t forget - you can stop renewing your subscription at any time. We find that users achieve the best value by staying subscribed and accruing credits (up to a year) so they can use them on their projects as needed, but we don’t lock you in or force you to do that. Pay for what you need!

      Hi Andrew.

      I appreciate the feedback. So, if I understand this correctly, I would cancel my subscription when I don’t need anything. Then, renew anytime I do need something, and then, cancel again - lather, rinse, repeat? over and over again?

      What if I only need one asset from time to time? You’re telling me that I would pay the same for one as I do many? Whereas one asset could cost as little as $39 - but I would still pay $59 because of your subscription price?

        The subscription nature of our product can cause some friction for users who only wanna buy one or two clips a year, I hear you on that point entirely. This is a use case where prices are more expensive - prices are $20 more than before, but in exchange you get 5X more items. I get it - it could be annoying because you don’t want five items, you want one.

        The good news - we’re working on a few things for this use case in particular that I think you’ll appreciate.
